Dean’s passion for photography began at 13 and now, more than 25 years on his passion is as strong as ever. He is a graduate in photography from the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University and is a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography.

"Photography should be spontaneous, capturing the essence of the moment. The mood of the landscape can change from one minute to the next and this is where the challenge lies. I just strive to portray the perfect light at the right time which illuminates the subject artistically. All the emotion of the occassion needs to be reflected in the picture. In my mind, this is the measure of a great image."

A photographer extraordinaire is the best way I can describe the amazing talents of Dean. His eye for balance and an appealing scene is uncanny. Dean learned his craft in the days when film was king and this has placed him at the peak of the pack in this modern digital era. Prior to working with digital camera's he chiseled out a niche in low light photography.

Dean willingly takes commissions which allows interior designers to match both the size and colour to the decor they are working with. All prints are supplied unmounted giving the decorators complete freedom as to how the images are displayed.
