Vanessa

Born and raised in Durban (South Africa), Vanessa grew up following her heart. However, art was not considered to be able to provide the finer things in life. After completing a business degree and working in London, she moved to Australia and persued her core passions. Painting and horses.

"I like to work with acrylic paint because of its fast drying properties and versatility. I'm guided by my life motto, "give the people what they want". I find it works for everything, husbands, babies, clients...!".

Vanessa has a deep love of horses as can be seen in many of her works. To keep it interesting she likes to work in a variety of styles, either abstract or figurative or both combined. Only too happy to take on a commission, Vanessa says "Try me, it's more affordable than you think!"

Her vibrant command of colour coupled with an eye for detail and depth of field allows Vanessa to trap a scene in her mind and then later on bring it back to life on canvas. Below are some samples of her colourful creations...
